Bonjour, Mes Amis
How Do You Do T?
Australian Greeting Rhyme
How do you do t’ (shake hands of both neighbors in circle)
How do you do t’
How do you do today?
Do you live where you used to live, (cross arms/shaking)
Or have you shifted away?
I’m sorry you’re so disagreeable, (break free/act mad)
I only stopped to say:
How do you do t’ (cross circle/find new spot)
How do you do t’
How do you do today?
How do you do t’ (shake hands of both neighbors in circle)
How do you do t’
How do you do today?
Do you live where you used to live, (cross arms/shaking)
Or have you shifted away?
I’m sorry you’re so disagreeable, (break free/act mad)
I only stopped to say:
How do you do t’ (cross circle/find new spot)
How do you do t’
How do you do today?

Peace, peace will, peace will come and let it begin with me.
We, we need, we need peace, and let it begin with me.
Oh my own life is all I can hope to control.
Oh let my life be lived for the good, the good of us all.
And let it bring peace, sweet peace, peace will come and let it begin with me.
We, we need, we need peace, and let it begin with me.
Oh my own life is all I can hope to control.
Oh let my life be lived for the good, the good of us all.
And let it bring peace, sweet peace, peace will come and let it begin with me.

Tchaikovsky’s most famous ballet, “The Nutcracker” is based on the story “The Mouse King” by German author E.T.A. Hoffman. The Nutcracker is a Christmas present given to Clara by her godfather Drosselmeier. It eventually comes to life and a battle between the Mouse King and the Nutcracker takes place and Clara rescues the Nutcracker. In appreciation, he takes Clara on a magical journey through the land of sweets.
